Abstract:Aiming at comprehensive utilization situation of domestic metallurgical resources, in order to further expand routes of blast furnace slag and steel slag utilization and increase its additional value, and the slag can be made to new fertilizer for agriculture, which can promote the sustainable development of steel industry and agriculture. According to actual production situation of blast furnace slag, the test studied the effects of the raw material composition proportion, heating temperature, holding time and cooling pattern on microstructure of the synthesized slow- release type silicon potash samples. And synthetic samples were used in water and 2% citric acid respectively to carry out dissolution character of potassium element. The obtained conclusions that under the experimental conditions, potassium in synthetic slow- released silicon potash mainly exists in the form of K2MgSi3O8, the composition proportion, heating temperature, holding time and cooling pattern have less effects on the synthetic sample components, and synthesized silicon potash samples have good slow- release performance.
